How to Join NMMBA
If you support wild horses and burros, and share our interest, we welcome your membership in NMMBA. The New Mexico Mustang and Burro Association is a chapter of the American Mustang and Burro Association. For New Mexico residents, membership in NMMBA is automatic with AMBA membership. The cost of AMBA individual membership is nominal. NMMBA sends those funds directly to AMBA and presently, the NMMBA does not have annual dues or membership fees. Our activities are supported by tax-deductible donations and by the voluntary contributions of time, talent, funds and resources from members and the community.

About Our Members
Some of our members have personally discovered mustangs and have become instant mustang enthusiasts. Others are horse people and horse lovers who believe that there are better, more compassionate and more sustainable solutions for wild horse and burro management and want to add their energy to creating better lives for wild equines. Ideas, resources, networking connections and your positive energy will create new possibilities and solutions for wild equines. We ask that you contribute as you can, with money, time, talents and advocacy. You can volunteer your help in many ways, from simply helping a mustang owner with vacation time horse care, to donating your professional skills to support our work. Our organization exists because of wild equines but it succeeds because of you!
